What started out with the intention of being just a regular blog about stuff I like quickly evolved into wall-to-wall Jeremy Renner appreciation. No regrets. You may also catch some movie, Avengers, various actors, music and weird stuff loving, but let's be honest for a moment, it's mostly gonna be that Renner guy.

Tonight, my impossibly cute little 2.5 year old goddaughter was using her magic wand/a biro to turn herself into various things - mainly a frog, a snake and Iron Man. She has a major Iron Man crush it seems. She also likes trying to say “Cap’n ‘erica” and “HULK…GRRRR”. My friend asked her to say Hawkeye and Thor.

“Porkpie…Fork!”

So, the new Hawkeye shirts on We Love Fine are kinda fantastic...

Having previously won a sweet-ass Avengers shirt (it’s so soft!) via one of their giveaways, I can vouch for the awesomeness of ‘em.

A quick, poorly lit photographic representation of a top birthday weekend: Hansel & Gretel twice in one day (all Renner films should receive IMAX release by law, because GOOD LORD…); Ninja Turtles Lego from friends (my mum is breathing a sigh of relief that this has only just been released, because 9 year old me would have flipped out…); catching up with my two fave H-Boys of the Hawk and Hell varieties; sugar, and cough sweets. Lots of damn cough sweets.

Yesterday myself and one of my best friends continued our yearly tradition of meeting up at a Christmas market (this year Lincoln), indulging in some festive adult beverages (apricot beer is festive, right?), getting annoyed with the crowds and finding somewhere quiet to chill and exchange gifts.

(As usual we had to share a table with bemused onlookers in the pub we found).

As you can see from the picture (it’s a print) my bestie finds me the coolest, most thoughtful presents - she got this from Mega City Comics in Camden, and said the assistant was super excited when she said she was looking for a print with Hawkeye on for her Avengers/Renner/Hawk obsessed friend :P

Cognitive Recalibration

My buddy yesterdaysheroes just jumped me and ‘forced’ (yeah right…) me to buy this rather amazing, awesomely cute Avengers/Peanuts crossover shirt, designed by her talented friend Ben Neb Girven. On sale NOW at ShirtPunch for a mere $10 and few more hours only.

Avengers/Renner/Johansson/Clint/Tasha/Clintasha fans Assemble :P

How awesome is this? My friend Mindy (yesterdaysheroes) posted it on my fb wall last night, it’s by her super talented friend Ben Neb Girven.

Just finished the Fraction/Aja Hawkeye #2.

Awesome.

I’ve not fully invested in a comic series for a very long time, usually wait for the tpb, but this had me from #1, page 1. The writing is wonderful, the artwork fantastic, my subscription is placed.

This is all Jeremy Renner’s fault.

So I just had a rather traumatic experience with a GARGANTUAN spider in my bedroom. The short version: caught under a cup, cardboard under the cup trick, took said cup out back, lifted cup: NO FUCKING SPIDER. I’m trying to overcome an irrational fear here and missing arachnids DO NOT HELP MATTERS.

I’m going to let the Hawk watch my room for the night now, just in case. Gah. Send hugs and whiskey.

I just bought some Rowntree’s Randoms to help me with my epic day of sorting piles of crap out. Grabbed two without looking and got the Hawkeye special edition.
